As Design Build contractor, Scansa Construction is underway on the construction of two identical five-story 85-unit affordable housing units in Sooke BC. The project, anticipated to be completed in September 2023, will include a mixture of studio, 1 bed, 2 bed and 3-bedroom units making up a total of 170 rental units. An Amenity building with community garden space centers the development, a public path will provide connection through the Sooke community to SEAPARC, Offsite works along Drennan and Sooke Road will also beautify the neighborhood. Land clearing started in May of 2021 with construction expected to start in June for a duration of 30 months.
