Goudy Fieldhouse & Stadium

Scansa Construction was awarded, as general contractor, the new construction of the Goudy Fieldhouse & Stadium.  Goudy Field is a premium grade artificial turf field lined for soccer, football, baseball, lacrosse and rugby. It is home to many City Centre Park recreational leagues and is equipped with semi-stadium seating, a field house and washrooms.

Construction of Goudy Field was completed in 4 phases:

• Phase 1 of the works was the installation of perimeter lock blocks for the new artificial turf field, this work included the fencing and sub grading for the turf installation.
• Phase 2 of the works was the installation of 1500 concrete stadium seating as well as the pathways around the field for pedestrians, with small curbed and paved parking area at the Langford Parkway Access.
• Phase 3 of the works included a 2000 square foot field house with public washrooms and two storage/change rooms for sports activities.
• Phase 4 of the works was the final completion of the site works including score board installations, adjacent residential home fencing and beautifications as per the City of Langford’s
