Millstream BMP Roundabout
Scansa Construction is the general contractor for the City of Langford Project. The Project involves creating a dual lane roundabout at the intersection of Millstream Road and Bear Mountain Parkway. In addition to improving current traffic flow, the roundabout will provide access to the Langford Heights Business Park Project currently under development on the old Western Speedway property.
The existing corridor is a very busy section of Millstream Road with high traffic volumes including significant industrial traffic. Traffic Management is the key challenge of the Project. An Engineered Traffic Management Plan is in place to ensure traffic flow and Public Safety are maintained.
Installation of new underground infrastructure and upgrades to existing will be completed prior to a major surface works expansion. The new roundabout will be complete with safety improvements, lighting, and landscaping.
