Rockford Place PH 1 & PH 2, (Construction Management)
Scansa Construction was engaged in a Construction Management Role by MJR Holdings to take over
the Rockford Place project when the prior contractor made an abrupt exit. Rockford Place is a two-
phased project consisting of 2 six story buildings with a total of 167 residential rental units. The
buildings are built of mass timber CLT floor and roof assemblies, alongside conventional wood wall
framing. Both buildings are located over a common 2.5 level concrete underground parking structure,
which was self-performed by Scansa’s Concrete Formwork division. A central landscaped courtyard
atop the suspended slab connects both buildings.
