City Centre Stadium – City of Langford
Scansa Construction Ltd. was awarded, as general contractor, the new construction of this design build proposal for the new City of Langford’s new City Centre Stadium in January 2009.
The Stadium holds as a community gathering place for sports, while also hosting Rugby Canadas National Team and the Canadian Junior Football League’s Westshore Rebels. Features include premium grade artificial turf field complete with full stadium seating, nine suites, concession, announcer’s booth, score clock and four change rooms.
All sub trades were hired directly through Scansa with our own forces completing the excavation, site servicing, concrete, site supervision and all project management duties required for this contract. Scansa Construction worked precisely within the short time frame to keep the project on schedule and on budget.
The Stadium was open for public use as per the City of Langford’s requirements on May 23rd, 2009.
